Juniper Removal Cost Share Opportunity

For landowners located in McKenzie, Dunn, Billings and Slope counties, enrolled in NRCS EQIP practice 314, this program offers an additional $100 per acre offset for juniper removal. Removal of juniper stands that have encroached on grasslands helps:

• Reclaim shaded out forage
• Increase drought resiliency
• Reduce fire severity
• Improve landowner’s access to land
