Who We Are

The Dakota Legacy Initiative acts as the hub of information for farmers, ranchers, landowners and partners. We thrive as a one-stop-shop of conservation resources and help eliminate confusion by providing relevant and timely knowledge, intended with North Dakota’s best interests in mind.

What We Do

Our goal is to make resources easily accessible for producers to practice soil conservation and planning. We take the guesswork out of what sources are reliable and share information that is vital to the success of our land.

Why That Matters

Soil conservation is work worth doing in North Dakota. The citizens of the state, our children and our children’s children are counting on us to preserve the legacy of agriculture, conservation and beautiful lands for generations to come.
