North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) Working Lands Program

Program Description

Through DU’s NAWCA-funded working lands programs, landowners can install grazing infrastructure on perennial grassland acres to facilitate rotational grazing practices. This program benefits prairie, livestock, wetlands and wildlife. Landowners with marginal cropland can use NAWCA cost-share to replant degraded acres to a diverse, native grass stand intended for grazing.
